About the Design
Leo is the fifth astrological sign of the zodiac. In Greek mythology, Leo was identified as the Nemean Lion which was killed by Heracles (Hercules) during the first of his twelve labours.
Some mythologists believe that in Sumeria, Leo represented the monster Humbaba, who was killed by Gilgamesh.
I love both of these myths, but my Leo killed both Heracles and Gilgamesh. He is shown in this illustration with a crown of horns, holding the skulls of the heroes who tried to kill him.
